- Contracts are good things. Use the requirements document for line items that need to be completed for fulfilment. Expect to pay a deposit up at sign-off time, and pay the rest upon delivery. My friends at LexPubli.ca publish boilerplate contracts for working with consultants, and various team members. Expect that without a provision for maintenance, you are responsible for your site after it is delivered.
